Arunima, who is also called Sonu, wants to conquer World\’s highest peak, Mt. Everest. She has already discussed her plans with Bachendri Pal, the first woman to climb the Everest.
Pal has been really kind to her and will start giving her required training from March, 2012.
She said Sonu\’s confidence to achieve her goal is actually a rarity. The mission is difficult but certainly not impossible with the kind of determination and fortitude Sonu possesses.
Sonu appears very happy with the adventure diva Bachendri Pal agreeing to help her to achieve the goal.
"I have lost my left leg in the incident but my confidence level is still high. I am confident that I can conquer Mt Everest and I am preparing myself to fulfill my dream," she said.
Sonu stated that she wants to tell everyone that disability is not at all a hindrance in the path of success if you have dedication, you just need to work hard to fulfill your dream.
