वॉशिंगटन. अमेरिकी राष्ट्रपति डोनाल्ड ट्रम्प को 1985 से 1994 के बीच कैसिनो और रिएल एस्टेट के बिजनेस में 1.17 अरब डॉलर (8073 करोड़ रुपए) का घाटा हुआ था। घाटे की वजह से ट्रम्प को इन 10 सालों में 8 बार कोई टैक्स भरने की जरूरत भी नहीं पड़ी। अमेरिकी अखबार न्यूयॉर्क टाइम्स (एनवायटी) ने ट्रम्प के टैक्स रिटर्न्स से जुड़े आधिकारिक दस्तावेजों के आधार पर यह दावा किया है। ये दस्तावेज सार्वजनिक नहीं किए गए हैं। यह रिपोर्ट इसलिए अहम है क्योंकि 2016 में राष्ट्रपति के चुनाव के प्रचार में ट्रम्प ने खुद को कुशल कारोबारी और मोलभाव करने में माहिर बताया था।
