Fasih’s wife seeks visa to visit him in Saudi

Nikhat Parween, wife of Fasih Mehmood , has applied for visa to visit her husband in Saudi Arabia.        
Fasih, an engineer by profession, was picked by the Saudi officials from his residence on May 13 on alleged terror links. 
 
Nikhat spoke to him for the last time on May 19 over the phone, after which he went missing.
 
There was no communication from Indian or Saudi authorities on his whereabouts after he was picked up from his home. 
 
Nikhat moved to the Supreme Court and it was then that the central government on July 11 revealed to her that he was under the under the custody og KSA government since May 13. Nikhat has also demanded setting up of a fast track court for his trial after he is deported to India.

Subject:- Request for issue of visiting visa in my favour  to see my husband Fasih Mehmood under custody of The KSA government.
 
Your Excellency-Assalamo Alaikum,
 
This is to bring your kind notice that my husband Fasih Mehmood bearing passport no-F4137562 and Iqama no-2255947885 was a working Engineer with Eram Engineering,Jubail, KSA,who was picked up on fabricated and concocted charges probably by the sleuths of the Interior Ministry KSA at the instance of External Affairs Ministry, Government of India on 13th of May,2012.
 
Sir, despite all sincere and honest effort from our end, his whereabouts were not disclosed to us. Having no option left, we filed a Heabus corpus petition before The Hon’ble Supreme court of India.
 
In course of last hearing on 11th July, 2012 before the APEX COURT, the Government of INDIA have disclosed that my husband Fasih Mehmood’s detention in the KSA, was confirmed on 26th June, 2012 by your esteemed Government
 
Sir, my husband is in custody of the KSA government since 13th of May,2012 and after a lapse of about more than two months we have not been able to have information regarding his health etc. which is telling upon the health and mental agony to the entire family.
 
 Now that my husband Fasih Mehmood’s custody with the KSA Government has been accepted and confirmed by the Government of INDIA, I would request your Highness to kindly issue visiting visa for me along with MEHRAM to enable us to see him in person.
