NIA की विशेष अदालत ने 2008 मालेगांव ब्लास्ट मामले में आरोपित और भोपाल से नवनिर्वाचित बीजेपी सांसद प्रज्ञा सिंह ठाकुर की याचिका स्वीकार कर ली जिसमें उन्होंने मंगलवार को होने वाली सुनवाई में पेशी से छूट की मांग की थी.
आज की सुनवाई के दौरान अदालत में प्रज्ञा सिंह के उपस्थित न रहने के कारण विशेष एनआइए न्यायधीश वीएस पाडलकर ने सुनवाई को अगले गुरुवार तक के लिए स्थगित कर दिया.
इससे एक दिन पहले 3 जून को कोर्ट ने प्रज्ञा ठाकुर समेत सभी आरोपितों को सप्ताह में एक बार पेश होने का आदेश दिया था.
इससे पहले 21 मई को अदालत ने इस मामले के आरोपी कर्नल पुरोहित, सुधाकर चतुर्वेदी और साध्वी प्रज्ञा को पेशी से छूट दी थी.
मालेगांव ब्लास्ट मामले में प्रज्ञा सिंह ठाकुर के अलावा लेफ्टीनेंट कर्नल प्रसाद पुरोहित, मेजर (रिटायर्ड) रमेश उपाध्याय, सुधाकर द्विवेदी, अजय राहिरकर, समीर कुलकर्णी और सुधाकर चतुर्वेदी हैं.
